Lunar Eclipse
By Donald Margulies
Reading series Ethics and the Theater of the NY Society for Ethical Culture
Lunar Eclipse centers on George and Em, an elderly couple on their Kentucky farm, as they watch a lunar eclipse. The play focuses on the quiet, often strained reflections of a long-married couple facing mortality, memory loss, and a shared, yet separate, history. In the follow-up discussion we will explore the themes of regret, guilt, responsibility.
