Eenie Meenie Miney No

by Jaisey Bates
Performed: - 15 West 28th Street, NYC, Apr 03 - Apr 06, 2019
Category:

This amazing short play is theatrical political action and performance poetry rolled into one, a moving testimony to victims of gun violence in schools. It quotes children in lockdown, gives voice to teachers who die while protecting their wards, to surviving mothers.

Eenie Meenie Miney No is part of the short play series Articulating the Arts, THE ART OF PROTEST,  by The Articulate Theatre Company, of which I am a member.

It’s a beautiful piece in a round-up of amazing plays, all based on existing protest art, which can inspire us to dare to raise our voices calling out injustice.
