Ditmas
Two people meet in a bar in Manhattan, find out they went to high school together, which at least for Mel was not a pleasant experience, since not only was he Marla then, he was also small, wore thick glasses and picked on by the stronger and the merciless. Sharon, a tough girl then, a survivor with a soft heart still, came to his rescue. So instead of a pickup scene, Ditmas explores what life does to us, how we find and lose and refind our way, how our past has shaped us but needn’t define us.
